Hi,

I have a PC Power & Cooling psu 500w this one http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703016&Tpk=pc power & cooling 500w and a ATI Radeon 4890 not overclocked, and a intel core 2 quad 8200 2,33ghz, and I want to but this motherboard and this cpu aircooler http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128372&Tpk=gigabyte ep45 ud3l http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186134&Tpk=arctic cooling freezer 7 pro

So I am asking if my 500w psu is enought to handle all this with the processor overclocked to like 3ghz maximum. I have see somewhere that my psu at peak is 550w but I am not sure (dunno if that can help). If my psu is not anought to handle all this with 3ghz cpu is a 2,66ghz will be good. If you think this is dangerous and no one know I will just sell it and buy a bigger one.

THX for your help guys!

The most important when overclocking is not the pure power of the PSU but the stability of its differents voltages.
If it's a good brand, you should have no problem.

Thank You I am to excited to wait for my new motherboard and overclocking my processor to something arround the 3GHz!

Your PSU will handle it fine. I wouldn't try to overclock with that CPU cooler though it is a little outdated. For overclocking I would recommend a CPU cooler with a 120mm fan like the dark knight.
