Overclocking results

i was thinking about that... dunno if i'm willing to go that far...
afraid to fry my cpu what's the max voltage it can handle you think?

See how far you can get with a voltage of 1.45. Watch your temps. Considering the stock speed of that CPU, I'd be very happy with 3.2-3.4. The goal is to achieve the highest overclock, with the lowest amount of voltage.

i really want to get it to 3.4 or maybe if possible 3.6 with 1.5 volt.
i won't go any higher with the voltage so hopefully i get 3.6.
then i can try to set 900mhz for my memory

ok i'm done oc'ing. Can't seem to get it to 3.4 but 3.3 is fine also.
my settings and temps after testing with prime 95 for 2 hours.

That extra chip in between the slots...I think is a 32mb usb memory chip that can be activated for us in Windows Vista to make it work faster. There is one on the Asus P5E board I'm looking at, but I can't find any data on whether or not it helps.

you're referring to some kind of flash memory on your motherboard.
this is something else, it's probably some kind of memory that regulates sli between the 2 videocard (if you have them) or something like that.
