Overclocking potential? any good?

obviously selecting this from a site like alienware or something, go for an i7 2600k, similar price and faster in almost every way, which i think that's a quad so change that to every way.

he is almost certainly building from cyberpowerpc.com or a similar site. That crap cooler is their default.

+1

If you are building a PC now you should definitely opt for Sandy Bridge and also I would suggest building your own PC.

okay, well, this being my first time building a pc before, And I'm embarrassed to say, I had already ordered this pc beforehand. I'm waiting for it to arrive from cyberpowerpc. since ordering it, I've done alot of research and sort of regret my decision. however, it was a gift, So I haven't really lost anything in the process, and am gaining this computer. So, in the future? do you guys have any advice for making the best out of this rig I will be getting soon? Thanks for the help.

can't you just send it back, they should have he option, but if you want to do that don't touch it basically, no opening, try not to bend the corners, keep it the way it coms, but this way you can get something much nicer.

thats a pretty impressive rig for a first-time builder, if I were you i would send it back you arn't really ready for building a pc of that quality (no offense)

if you rad the comments or looked at it enought, he got it from cyberpower and is waiting for it to arrive, and how is he not ready to build something like that, jealous of his rig mister Q6600

of course im jealous :P, i thought he was going to build it himself, I meant if I had never built a computer before id would be dead scared building one that costs a grand or more just because i would think id mess up.
