Just restart your computer and it will be back at default clock. (lol, is it now frozen?)

no, its making this high pitch sound, i westarted my computer like 3 times...
"CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC"
it sounds like somethings not right... perhaps damaged my gpu already?

no, frequency doesn't create much heat at all. probably just a software problem. what creates heat is voltage. frequency only creates a tiny bit of heat.
example: one time i accidentally clocked my cpu (old 3400+) at 3ghz and it didn't do anything to it... it was just extremely unstable. all i had to do was go in the bios and reclock it to where i wanted it.

Do you have another means of getting video? Another video card, integrated? Test that first. If it is still making that noise, you are having some problems.
If you dont have another video card, take your current one out, and boot up your computer, and try and get to desktop. If you cant, then just boot it up, let it be for a minute, restart it, then plug in your video card again.

Hope this helps!

i had the same problem with ATI tools but just shutdown the computer for 1 minute and then open it up again and it should get back to the default frequency

well, its been like 12 hours since i did this,

and restarting doesnt seem to work, may be i will try taking out the video card,, i guess...

oh ya, i set it at default, but every time i restart, the memory? goes up, i dont know why.

it can only load a profile with windows startup through Reg or start menu
or load profile when the ATItool itself starts

oh ya, i unclicked "override fan speeds" and its fixed...

lol so the high pitch sound was your fan? Check your gpu temps now, if the sounds gone down, it means the fan slowed itself down.
