Overclocking xfx 9800gt

I just finished used EVGA precision to overclock my xfx 9800gt video card and I'm not sure if I had done it correctly.

Core Clock= 720
Shader Clock= 1800 (linked)
Memory Clock= 1050

75+ degrees at load.

I just increased each section to the point before it would crash. Can I get feedback? Thanks.
 
well are you experiencing crashes/artifacts in games or gpu intense applications? If not then well done. If you are, lower each clock a bit until you don't crash anymore.
There really isn't such a thing as a "correct" overclock. It varies from computer to computer, brand to brand, and after market components.
For example better Heatsinks/heatpipes/fans
