my 2 computer is over heating even if it is clean good power supply..the two is same specs same date i bought..after 6 months it overheats..they said its overclocking..what i did only is,,,go to properties in my computer then go to advance performance, setting performance then advance after that change the vertual memory to 2000 to 4000 range from 300 to 500..can i ask?what i did is an over clocking or what?..now my computer is 15min it overheats..please help me techpeople..:-)

Changing your Virtual Memory setting amount has nothing to do with Overclocking. Like said above, whats it doing to make you think its overheating?

How much RAM do those comps have? You've set the virtual memory range from large to small, and running out of physical AND virtual memory can cause problems. Also, in terms of performance it'd be best to have a static-size pagefile (i.e. virtual memory min&max are the same)

i hav 2 computer the same date i purchase the same date it overheats it's deferent from other PC's..i dont no what happen they said overclocking...they said it is the fan some said it is a dirt, but i always giv a clean,, always..but stil the same..i dont know wat is the major problem of this two PC..all i did is change the virtual memory range..to 2000-4000 thats all from a hundred...

Hmm well you should probably try making the pagefile larger. Try whatever you had before (2000-4000?), and if this doesn't fix it you should probably check on the fans.

Oh an btw what makes you think it's overheating again?

Are you having this problem on both or only one of your computers?
