Overheating pc

I have owned my pc for over 15 months. One day about 3 weeks ago it shut
off due to overheating and ever since then it has been shutting down after about 2 hours of running or sometimes less. my pc will start out at 50 C and then keep rising till it eventually shuts down. how to i fix this problem? :eek:

clean out all of the dust in the case if there is any. get some new fans for your case. get a better heatsink copper is better and get some artic silver 5 for it and a better fan. and maybe watercooling would be a option to if your temps are that bad.

Liquid Cooling 101.

To clean the dust out, I would recommend getting some cans of compressed air, and blowing out the dust that clogs up the heatsinks and fans around your computer. But before you clean it, make sure you ground yourself to reduce the risk of ESD.
 
yea, ive had the same problem before on a older pc of mine, and what i done was replaced all the fans and added a extra one, or you can be all ghetto like a few of my buddies and run ur pc without the side panel!!:D
