Hi,

for folks in hot countries are their any tips for overheating problems please - like installing more efficient or doubling up on fans please?

thanks

Ric

For airflow, it is much better to have more air coming in than going out. so say you have 2 intake fans and 1 outtake fan.

Also, use HWMonitor for temperatures. it's quite a simple program with all the temps listed on page, which i fidn better than having to browse through everything with everest (though everest is good!)

thanks Linkin93 + Analizer,

is installing an extra fan a difficult job - obviously there is a space issue with many pc's? it's a shame more casings are not made with extra optional ventilation: have a friend in Australia where sustained heat over many days at a time is obviously not helping the processor: if it were me i'd start stripping off the side panels (in extreme heat) but for reasons of safety i don't want to suggest this :-o

btw - how do you get to the temperature readouts in either Everest or HWMonitor please?

thanks

Once you open HWMonitor, it should look something like this:
