No it's not hard, but I believe you need to have a CPU that the motherboard supports in order to flash the BIOS.oh ok. but if they dont, is it hard to flash/or whatever them so they are updated?
The only time that would effect real use of your computer would be if you had a RAID array setup using the onboard RAID controller, had your SATA/IDE hard drives configured to run in a certain mode, or had your system overclocked/tweaked. All of these can be fixed though, and then your system will be back the way it was before.while we are talking about the bios, is there anything that gets stored there apart from the bios settings?
like if i reset the bios (take the battery out), will it do anything else to my computer that i would not want?
P35 boards automatically reset the BIOS settings if it detects that the overclock has failed, so theres no need to manually reset it.ok thanks very much for that.
so i guess if i went totally crazy with overclocking and my computer wouldnt boot then it would be best to reset the cmos/bios?
