P4V88 Beeping Problem

Hello,

I have a P4V88 motherboard and whenever I reboot, it makes 1 long beep and 9 short ones, and the monitor doesn't display anything, but the computer seems to load. And when I reboot again it works flawlessly, no crashes, no freezes, everything seems in order.

Any ideas on this weird bug?

When you hear beeping, they are mostly caused by the CPU, RAM or Graphic card. I guess it maybe RAM or Graphic card problem.

Yes, I always thought it was one of those things, mostly the graphics card, I have an AGP GeForce 6600.

Oh, and one more thing, the computer doesn't seem to care much if I press Turn Off anymore.

It doesn't turn off just by pressing the Turn Off Computer button. I need to turn it off using the on/off button from below.

Edit: Hmm, it seems to turn off properly now...
So, back to the beeps, any idea on how to get rid of them?

I think I know what's wrong now! It's probably a screen display/retrace test failure! Could this be because of my ASRock P4V88 motherboard or my GeForce 6600?

One more thing, it's a small detail but maybe I should point it out... I didn't make any upgrades after I bought the graphics card. My 3DMark 2003 score was about 4990 (no sound tests but I think they don't make a difference), and now I have only about 4300. Maybe my videocard was overheated or something? I did do a bit of overclocking, but only a bit, and I restored anything back anyway because I didn't get much of a performance increase.
