P8P67 Pro and Dimm x4, A love story

Heya friends and neighbors,
I've been prodding along nicely with my lovely computer, happy as a clam. For those of you who don't know, here's the back story.
P8P67 Pro mobo
i-2500k
2x2gb Corsair XMS3 RAM
evga gtx 570
and on, and on...

So I was finally able to afford a RAM upgrade so I could hang out with some big boys. Got me 16 gb (4x4gb) of GSkill Ripjaws (blah blah ddr3, 1600mhz, 1.5v).
But Alas! My mobo will only recognize 8gb... They're all in their lil' sockets snugly, am I missing a BIOS update? Is there a switch on the mobo I need to throw, button to reset? Whassamatter with my rig, y'all?

Possibly bad motherboard. Does bios recognize all 16 gb? Run cpuz and see what it recognizes.

Bios does not recognize the RAM. I will run the test when I get back home this afternoon.

What is the exact model of memory are you using? There is a bios update for new memory support for 1333mhz sticks with cas of 4.

I would update to the latest bios to see if that clears it up. Latest bios is 1850.

I have the same mobo and ram, and it recognizes all 16gb of it. Like johnb35 said, try updating your BIOS.
