I have a Packard Bell I-Media 5095 and am trying to restore it to factory default using the Packard Bell Recovery Program, but I cannot find the eRecovery Management icon on my PC, nor can I find the Packard Bell folder. I have contacted Packard Bell and they said that my pc is a 'legacy model unit' and therefore unfortunately could not help me. This pc is my back up but I still want to return it to its former state. I am quite pc canny but am struggling with this problem.

Is there anyway that this Packard Bell folder can be emailed to me please, either as a stand alone file or a zipped one?

Thank you for your assistance.

Go into disk management to see if there is a recovery partition on the hard drive. If there is, its only a matter of pressing a special key at bootup to boot into the recovery partition to restore windows.

Could be f10 f11 f12. Do you have any documentation about the pc at all? Should say in the owners manual.

Yes - I've got the original instruction manual. I just can't find the file that I need on the pc and don't know how to recover it. I want to restore my pc to its factory default settings but without the erecovery management link - can't do it!

What operating system are you running? Is there anything in the manual that explains how to do a system recovery? When you start up the computer does it say anything in the first black screen to press a certain key to begin system recovery?
