So apparently I have a heuristic virus called Packed.Generic.200 and it has killed my network, Norton SONAR and Advanced Protection, and is bogging down my system. Norton can't seem to remove it or quarantine it and I talked to an IT guy and he sez it interferes in the System Restore function so that's out. Somebody told me to boot in safe mode and try running Norton from there and it barely runs Norton and only scans about 3,000 files How can I get it off my system?
