Page first result in Google- How to Push Down

I am hoping someone may be able to shed some light on an issue I have and possibly help resolving. 10 years ago an ex-girlfriend posted anonymously a false story about me online. A few years after that the site datingpsychos grabbed it (which is ironical consider the ex-girlfriend has stalked me and friends of mine for years since), and linked it to my address, age, etc. They won't take it down, saying they need to go to the original poster- who they don't even know since it wasn't directly posted on their site.
Here's the problem. If you search my name, it's not an uncommon name so it doesn't show anywhere in the first few pages. If you search my name and town, it becomes the top of the list on google. Since I can't have the page removed, I've been trying to create online profiles (facebook and other social media sites), with my name and town in the profile, to push it down in the results and hopefully get it to page 2 on results. The problem is, anything I create, gets close to the top but nothing bumps it down. Does anyone know what would cause this to stay at the top and any idea what can be done to start bumping it down? I don't care if people I know see it because it's so far from the truth. My concern is potential employers seeing it. It's surprising this stuff is allowed.

Thanks.

You could try negative SEO on it. I haven't checked datingpyschos so not sure how much of an authority site is it, but negative SEO could help you remove it. This basically involves throwing thousands and thousands of spammy links at the URL with the same anchor text. Depending on the root site, Google will see this attempted manipulation and penalise the page or even deindex it. Feel free to PM me the URL.

Hi Homenet,

I am having the same problem. I have been stalked by a serial stalker. The FBI knows about him and I have reported him to the police. He works with 2 other guys to terrorize and stalk women after he is rejected. His friend has now posted my picture and my profile on datingpsychos.com I want to delete it but I cannot. Can you tell me if the negetive SEO worked? if so, can you tell me how to do it? Here is the URL http://www.datingpsychos.com/browse...58ace607758926ed34357e699879e2e9a1e877d5f1087 I can tell you my name via something more private.
