Page Number removed when changed to pdf

What are you using to convert to pdf?
Sometimes during pdf creation, things that are really close to the paper edges are cut out (i.e. margins are increased compared to original document). Could it be that your page numbers are really close to the edge of the paper?

Well, I make a footer having my text on the right and the page numbers in the middle.

Yes, I figured that is what you were doing, but again - my question: what program are you using to create the pdf?

AND

Are the page numbers really close to the edge of the paper? I know Word shows them fine and it would print them fine too - but if the margins of the footer are really close to the edge of the white "paper" on Word, then when you create the pdf some parts of the footer might get cropped off in the process.

Just for the heck of it, try adjusting the footer margins so that the page numbers are half an inch (or more) higher than they are now. Then convert to pdf and see if the page numbers appear. If they do, then I was right about them being cropped/cut off earlier. In that case you'll have to try and see what is the lowest you can have them on Word.

If they still don't appear after trying my suggestion, then we'll have to think of another solution.
