Pagefile

I'd like to seek assistance on clearing out a hard drive of excess.

Can someone tell me about a file called Pagefile.sys
It is taking up over 603 Megabytes of space on my hard drive.

Also, in this folder:
C:\Program Files\Tukati\Redistributor\4\data
I have a huge number of files, over 600.
I wonder it anyone can tell me what they may be used for. And do I need to keep them.

Don't mess with PageFile.sys! Its your systems answer to low or full RAM! You modify the size you allow that file to be by going into your Control Panel, then click the Advanced tab, then click "Settings" under performace, then go to the advanced tab again, and click "change" under the Virtual Memory section. Be careful making that change though, it will affect system performance! if you have tons of ram, you can lower the size of the page file, but if you have a small amount of ram... I suggest leaving a higher area for page file!
