Panel buttons and cables

Just found an old computer we had laying around, first I thought it was just a motherboard but it's actually got a CPU there too. Would be nice to have as a server as it's passively cooled. I can get all the parts I need for it like the HDD, RAM and keyboard. All I need now is the cables and buttons to connect to the motherboard so I can get it started. The question is, can I buy the buttons and cables, that are used for the front panel on a case, in any computer store or do I need to buy a whole new case to get 'em? Cause I really haven't seen any of those in a store by themselves.
 
for the price you can get a cheap case nowadays, it might be cheaper to just buy a whole case.

Yeah, your probably right but I was thinking about making my own custom case for it, probably out of wood. And being able to buy the cables and buttons would be more "efficient" than buying a whole new case.
 
If you can tell on the motherboard which connector is used for the power switch (it will probably be labeled), a Normally Open (NO) push button from somewhere like Radioshack would probably work. This is if it's an ATX motherboard with an ATX power supply.
 
It's an ATX mobo, which uses a 20-pin connector and I do have a PSU for it, "old" 200W from my current computer which I had earlier before I bought a much better 450W.


This is the motherboard: Hewlett-Packard D7580-60003. The site says it has a 4x AGP slot but mine doesn't have one.

And the CPU seems to be a 500MHz Celeron, socket 370. :D

Yeah, luckily it's cooled with a heatsink, no fans. So I can keep it on through the night. And I couldn't find any cables so far, and if I'm gonna get a new case for it I was thinking about getting something in the line of a Shuttle case or something close to that, to keep it small and clean looking.
