Hi

I have just finished my i7 sandy bridge build. i am fairly paranoid about the flaw found in the sandy bridge chipset, i have a gigabyte p67a-ud4 and i was using sata 2 ports before and now have swapped to the sata 3 port would this make it safe to use?

Yes, but if you want to use more drives, but run out of SATA 3 ports, you will need to get yourself a PCI SATA 3 expansion to use em
