Hello, recently i used partition magic to parition my hard drive, It worked, Then i formatted the computer, But in my computer there are some partitions missing i had other drives there, Removable storage.. Any idea how to get them back.

Also, on startup right at the point where it lists startup options, It takes about 5 minutes to load through the the next bit ( CD Boot ) Hope someone can help me thanks....

Might have crashed? If your talking about when it loads the CD Boot setup, then thats supposed to be some time to load

Nope, its not when it loads the boot up CD, Its after the reformat has complete. But in my computer there are missing partitions now, Stuff that was there before.

What do you mean, when you used partition magic you made more than 1 partition and now there not showing or you have more than 1 harddrive and the other drives are not showing?

He says that its in his removable drives so yes he has other drives and their not showing =)

From my memory in my computer, I had removable disk F,G,H,I drives, All of them are now gone, I try a reformat but it is the same, Very slow getting past the bit where you can press DEL for setup. I have no idea what is wrong. I made 1 partition with the Partition Magic, And split my hard drive 50%.

AFAIK, the "removable disk" label will be gone if removable disk is plugged off. It will be displayed again after the removable disk is inserted back. Sometimes, when the system is old and slow like mine, we need to plug it off and insert it back to 'trigger' the system to recognize the new hardware. My stoopid system sometimes cannot detect hardware (removable disk) automatically, thus I need to do it manually lol, what a pain on my ass, but I still love this old system hihi :-p
