Partioning a 1TB hard drive

I have reformatted this NTFS hard drive, and then tried to use disk management in Windows 7, 64 bit with no success for this. Do I need to buy or download free software to have a partition of approximately 100GB for the Windows 7 system, another of say 800GB and one for the factory image? The existing partitioning with Windows 7 installed, is: -

System reserved: 100 MB
(c:) 917.09 GB:
Factory Image: 14.32 GB
