Partitioning disk in Vista

Hi. I have a 500gb hard disk with Vista ultimate installed in it. I want to have new partition that has about 120gb of space in it. I use vista's disk management program to partition but I am limited to about 60gb. Is there anyway that I can increase the size of the partition or use any other freeware to do it?
 
Download GParted. It's a free disk management utility. You'll need to burn the .iso file to a CD. Restart your computer and boot the program from the disk. Take a look at this article for further instructions.
 
Gparted is definitely the best. And Free. I use the GNOME environment alot, and they've got partitioning down with Gparted. I've used it on multiple drives and OSes/Filesystems, and I've never had an issue with them.

Make sure to download one of the platform independent releases 0.3.3.0 or 0.3.2.0 for working with MS type partitions. Those are the only two currently available that can create various partition types for different OSs. The rest can be used to resize or delete MS type but remain strictly for Linux.

You will have to scroll down about 15 of them to get to the 0.3.3.0 release that loads up faster then the older 0.3.2.0 version at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=115843&package_id=173828
