I am trying to install fedora 9 on my system. i already have vista installed on it. i want to run a dual boot. when i am installing fedora 9, i get to the partitioning screen. i choose custom layout. then when i try to edit my current partition with vista on it, it keeps giving me an error. the error reads " could not allocate requested partitions: partitioning failed: not enough space left to create partition for None". now i have tried to create a swap and a root partition, and both gave me same error. what do i need to do to create a partition for fedora? i have about 250gb left on my HDD. i want to allocate about 50 gb for fedora

When I installed Fedora I went into windows vista, computer management, disk management. Then I'd suggest you shrink your hdd to give fedora enough room then put the cd in and install fedora into the unallocated partion hope i helped :)
