I had 2 partitions 1 was unused so I deleted it. when I rebooted it said I had no bootable partion. So I installed XP on a new partition so I could boot up comp. Now I can only access the new patition. I know the 1 I was using is still there I just don't know how to access it. Please help

Well you can try Norton Partition Magic, it will show you any unused space on your hard drive, adn allow you to add it to your current partition.
 
I can't afford to buy anything. that's why I had to make a new partition and ended up with 2
 
I couldn't find one, but I found Acronis Disk Director Suite 10.0. It sounds like it does the same thing. Going to try it out
 
If you just want to create a second partition instead of allocating the empty space to your existing partition you can do that in XP. Go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management and create a partition from there.

But I all ready have 2 I need to know how to access my other one.
 
Ah, my mistake. If the partition doesn't appear in disk management, chances are you've accidentally deleted it. What appears in disk management? All your partitions, unallocated space, etc....

Lol, yes there is a trial version but you can't use it, I mean you can't do anything with partitions.

Can you see the other partition, that one that you can't access? Is it saying "Access Denied" when you try to double click on it? If so I know how to solve the problem, I don't want to type it now since I don't know if you're getting that message and actually see that partition.

I can open it but I can't boot to it. I want it as my primary. It has 32.38 GB and the one I'm stuck with using has 3.91.
I allready know that's not enough, that's why I made the 2nd and bigger one in the 1st place.
