Okay, so long story short. I want to work on the update to the Linux guide some more. But I don't trust my D630 to run it well (BSOD and temp issues). My M90 will not connect to the internet wirelessly in any Linux that I have tried. Is it possible to pull the Intel card from the D630 and install it in the M90 to use Linux? or are the cards too different to work?

You should be able to swap the cards without an issue. Just install the correct driver for it.

Well that is why I want to use the card from the D630, the driver is there out of the box for most Linuxes.

My plan is to pull the WLAN card and HDD from it and go to work on the guide again. When I am done with the guide, I am going to put everything back. I get better speeds on the M90s card, at the cost of Linux wireless.

Thanks for the help.
