I passed the A+ Essentials Test today. I got a 685 and the passing score is 675. I have to take the 2nd half and I have my choice out of three of them. Which one should I do?

Well you have to take the A+ Essentials part. After you pass that, you have your choice of three different exams. Pick one and once you pass it, you get the cert.

Oh, LOL, I didn't know. I took it a long long time ago when it was all about DOS and ISA slots on motherboards.

So, is the core part hardware?

What are your options for testing? The greatest thing about A+ is you are A+ for life. I never have to update it.

Yeah good luck!
Can I ask you some information about that CompTIA certification? How do I take the exams and do I have to pay for it...

I didn't seem to find it on internet so...please tell me :D

Well I scheduled a test date with the local tech college here and it was $80 per test and you have to take two of them in order get the cert so it's $160 total.

Oh, that's not much, but I don't understand, is it possible for me to take the tests? I'm 16 remember, and they mention some 6 months experience...

You can actually take it whenever you want. That 6 months experience thing is just a recommendation. If you think you're prepared, then take it.
