Password Encryption

I got an email from my aunt today saying that both her debit and credit cards were stolen in the last two weeks and she had $700 worth of fraudulent charges. She's looking to get some kind of password encryption software for her home desktop, and she won't be shopping online much unless PayPal is accepted.

Anyway, I'm just looking to see what others recommend for password encryption.

virtual keyboard works well. Doubt if they are hacking it that i know of. Its built into my Kaspersky internet security and my windows pro at least windows 7 pro. maybe xp pro.
don't remember. ive used both keyboards in the past. Great for passwords and getting your name and personal info like credit card numbers also when first signing up etc.

something eles comes to mind she needs to know.

She does know beside a good virus program the site she goes to, too do this should start with a secure site, HTTPS. My wife pays and buys all time with credit card and paypal. We also access our credit card on line to check and see what is on there. Maybe check every two weeks and look for something unusual on there. And immediately contact the credit card company. They are good about it if theft is involved. Wait too long to contact then to late. And from what i understand from the news you should contact your local police department. Just another procedure to follow.

She gets an email from Capital One when something is purchased with that card, and she regularly checks her bank account.
