Password for my Photo folder

Hi,

Anyone know of how or what I need to download in order to put a password on my photo folder?

I don't want to hide or rename the images, I want to password protect the whole folder.

I am a complete novice so don't get too technical or I will have to google every word!!!! Think like you are talking to a 5 year old about this and thats about right!

Laptop uses Windows.

I think you have to Zip the folder, and password protect the .zip file it leaves.

if he were to do this would he have to unzip everytime he wanted to access the files? Seems like a pain imo?

.jpeg are already compressed, so it wouldn't take him any longer than just opening the pictures.
There are few ways to password protect files in windows.

WinRAR can setup a password. It is good but it is limit for free until you have paid for it.
