I have a new Acer desktop that had a HDD/CMOS password set. You must have the password to boot. I have the password and am able to boot the PC. What I now want to do is remove the password, then enable user accounts. I can do the user accounts. What I cannot figure out is how to remove/disable the HDD/CMOS password. Again, I have the password and can boot the PC and navigate everywhere. Spoke to Acer support and they think they know how to, but all they say do is a restore, which I have done. I just want it to go away.
