Password Policy Windows 7 Pro

Hi There,

I have a windows 7 pro computer not joined to a domain and never has been, i set a password on the computer and now want to remove the password but being told that the password does not meet the requirments.

I have got to gpedit.msc to check the password policy and this is not enabled.

Has anyone else had this problem and how did they get around it?

Just download Hiren's Boot CD and use the Offline NT Password Changer.

I was hoping i could do this in windows as its a remote computer
