Hi everyone, i'm new to the forum.
A friend of mine gave me a notebook that he has hardley every used. When i started it up it asked for a password, so i rang him up and he cant remember it, he gave me a few to try but i've had no look with them.
The notebook does not have a cd drive so i cannot use a boot disk. How can i remove the password?
Thanks

You are going to need to get a external disk drive.

You can use brute forcing software for it, it actually traces the password and then logs in to the administrator.
