Password Protected sharing

I cannot seem to turn off password protected sharing on my Vista32 business computer.

every time you try to, the change from on to off does not take effect and it remains on.

I've tried a few "fixes" to this problem posted on other websites, but none of them seem to work for my problem.

I've tried resetting all user passwords, changing group policies and a few others to get it to work.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to fix it?

Well i tried it on my Vista Home Premium 32 SP1 and it worked..... so not sure, i turned it off, then rebooted and it was still off upon reboot........

yep, it works perfectly fine on my vista premium machine. Im not the only one with this problem either, Ive found almost a dozen cases of this on the net, but all the solutions I've found didnt help me

Could be a Vista Business Problem.....

I know someone else who has the buisness version, i'll ask them.... and see if they have the same problem....
