Pasword changing?

How can i change an administators password? if i go in to safemode, can i acess an administrative user and change the password? or make another acount?
 
... i know :P. i ask becuase my mother computer in her office has my user on it, but im not administrator so i cant do much. so i was wondoring how i would go about hetting on to her user and changing or getting another acount
 
After you click User Accounts, look at the bottom, choose your account. Then click "Change my account type".
 
not really sure what you would be able to do under an account that's not set as administrator. i've always been the one to set up everything on everyone's computers, so of course i gave myself unlimited access to everything. i ususally even know everyone's passwords to e-mails and everything.
but, the only way i know for sure that you can access and change stuff around is a total format and reload
and i don't think you would want to do that

ok here is a long shot, but stupid as it sounds it works 90% of the time. When your asked to login, type username: administrator and leave the password blank. If the account was not specifically changed or setup it is defaulted to nothing... YEAH! FUN! thats why this works good on your open school network \\computername\c$ ehhehe and also "net send"
