Teacher's will never say,"That idea sucks". They're paid to encourage responsibility. Me, like the others, do not see this going to well. Not to be rude, but i see you in front of your iTunes playlist adding album art while a ltumbleweed rolls by. I'm assuming this is going to be at and auditorioum or something, am i right? You can't relyu on donations for food and all. Only the really good and/or stupid souls would give food and drink for free for you. It's hard enough as it is for most people.
 
I'll get donations from the big companies, and it will be on the stage in our Performing arts center.
 
Don't want to crush your bubble here... but why are you doing this? It definitely seems that you are doing it to try and score yourself a computer, not to have a learning experience. Therefore it will be much harder to get donations for food and get kids to go your disco. Even when it's for charity it is hard to get people to come... this group called GATA at my school fails every time and they are for charity and have the school admin on their side. For you I think it will be even harder. As long as you don't invest too much into this though, it could be worth a try.

Personal best is for year 9 to do a project. They have a choice of doing what they choose. It is the experience, i wanted to do a light + sound disco originally but i thought this would be good, my Multimedia teacher and one of my other teachers think it is a great idea. My parents are also behind me and some of my friends think it is a great idea, i have to get it off the ground first and then it will run smoothly.
 
Change of plan!!!!

I'm going to have a disco a few lunch times charge say $2AU to get in, dance around have some music for 45 mins and then do that a few times, should be good.... then i can do it as many times as i need to get the money...
