PC 2007 having issues (any help would be great)

I just diced up a copy of Vista ultimate, got it down to a little over 900mb. Anyways I wanna give it a test run on PC 2007 so I setup a virtual machine. Just all the default settings on a "new" virtual machine. When I fire it up and tell it to go from my vista .ISO it gets about half way through loading bar (the one before it goes to the blue screen to install) then it gives me and "Failed to start,

"File: \windows\system32\boot\winload.exe

Status: 0xc000035a

Info: Attempting to load a 64-bit application, however this CPU is not compatible with 64-bit mode"

Now that makes no sense to me I set up the virtual machine to run vista, it also does the same thing with a normal vista ultimate. Any help would be great.

you meant to say Virtual PC 2007 right ?
anyways are you doing this on the computer in your signature ?
and why did you chopped the vista dvd to 900, thats why probably you got the BSOD in the first place.
Are you sure your PC can run 64bit Vista ?
cause as per the error code thats what is happening

Yes, Virtual PC 2007.

Yes comp in sig is what I am using, so definitely 64bit compatible.

I chopped it with vlite to 900mb because vista is a pig, I do got 4GB of Ram, but still. It's such a hog, I followed a very well written explanation of what each thing I dropped out was.

I don't think the problem is with the vista I made. I never used PC 2007 before, so I just figure there is something I am missing.
