PC always hang

I have a desktop computer that has an Intel Core 2 Duo E5400 processor, 2GB RAM and 500GB Hard drive. It always hangs after I leave it on for a few hours, this is even if when it is at rest and not doing anything. Also, when I plug it my webcam, it takes a shorter amount of time to hang.

Its not the RAM or processor as it has been replaced. I have brought it back to the shop twice to get it looked at but when it is there it seems to work fine. Please help!
 
Hanging Computer

The first question would be where you've got your computer located? If you've upgraded the RAM and CPU, did it hang before the upgrade? Basically, my thoughts would be as follows:

1) Try improving the airflow over the mobo/ cpu/ ram. The cooler you keep the PC, the better.
2) Mobo's have a habit of failing due to heating/ cooling causing failures in solder joints. It's a typical hang failure. Keep the PC cooler and see if it stay on for longer.
3) Check your AGP/ PCIx graphics card (you don't mention if you have one?). The graphics card may be hanging and not the PC itself.

In effect, it's usually a temperature issue that causes a computer to hang. The webcam adds quite a bit to your CPU usage, even when idle as it's Software based decoding via the USB port. More CPU usage= more heat generated!
 
Temperature?

Well it could be anything?
If your PC is hanging from before upgradation then it could be anything a trojan, a virus.
