pc and ps3 question

Hello,

I currently have a destop AND a ps3, and I want to get mw3 for my new desktop but all my friends play on the ps3 and I dont wanna pay another 60$ for the ps3 copy.

So, is there a way that I can play online with my ps3 friends? maybe a emulator, bios emulator, like hooking up my ps3 to the computer and doing something there, ripping the disc, whatever the case may be, is there a way to do this?

not that i have heard of, this has been brought up in different places. but its a no because they all run different servers for the different platforms. the only exception to this is counter strike : global offensive IF anyother games do this it would most likely be between xbox and pc as they are both microsoft. but for now i am unaware of any way that you would be able to cross platform
