i currently am using my own computer as the family computer needs formatting but as i swaped mine over for the family one over and took it into my bedroom and fired it up it was ok but ran slow and happy it was warm after 30mins i then switched it off (wednesday when i did this) then today when to boot it up and a flash then nothing ? tried again a few times and nothing ? check the plug-fuse-and when you connect it (it crackles so it has power)then as i flick the off and on switch at the back i noticed the keyboard flashes and the mouse lights up but but the cpu or anything else kicks in!?
it is a 1.8ghz
with an 80gb satar harddrive with 512mb ram etc plenty of airflow so it hasnt burnt out etc the one im currently using is my own personal computer so i can sort out the family computer and so the family has computer use and internet access still
the bios is winfast? never heard of this one before like but ...
as said no fan kicking in-no cpu flicker as they do when power is transfered through the machine but there is power to the mother board as the keyboard and mouse flicker but the mouse stay lit up ? but have checked the connections on the front for the main on and off button and no problems
can anybody help?
