I am very pleased to say that my last gaming build was a success. Me and a friend are now building a mildly affordable gaming computer and some feedback on this parts list would be very much appreciated.

We already have a spare optical drive for this build. Probably could have gone with a smaller wattage on the psu, but for expansion's sake we went with the 700. If you see anything that is just god awful to have in this build or any suggestions really, please post. Thanks for the help.

For gaming, 8GB is excess ram. The most that most games will need is 4GB.

Go for a newer GPU. A GTX460 or HD6850/6950.

Might want to go for a AM3+ board to have future upgradability with AMDs next gen. processors.
