I have a friend whose most demanding game is CS:S and Gmod(HL2). He wants me to build him something and I wanted to see what you guys thought. He will need a monitor, KB, and Mouse. This is how far I have gotten....



If there is an AMD processor that outperforms the new Pentium above, tell me, I am sure it's cheaper.

is 8ms for css going to work out? i play on my friends lcd which i am pretty sure is 8ms and i can tell the difference between a crt - HUGE

how much is he paying?
 
8ms is fine. I think the build looks good. It's potential to play any newer games is sorta shot, but I'm sure that's awared of. :D

Edit: all he'd have to do is upgrade the graphics, I forget you can upgrade computers... :o

would you consider going with like a 7950gt or something like that because if you aren't going to vista (i don't know how you feel about that) and don't need dx10 then do you need to go with the 8---... i like my 7950gt lol its exactly what i needed
