pc for rendering animation

hi, im building a new rig to keep up and cut my rendering times in maya, 3ds max and blender. how do you think this machine would perform?

Intel Core 2 Quad q6600
Asus 780i Motherboard
8gb Corsair xms2
Samsung spinpoint 500gb - 32mb Cache
2x 8800gt sli
And im thinking of installing my software for animating on a western digital raptor?

what do you think, would this be a good system for that?
