PC keeps freezing after new motherboard and ram!

Yesterday I replaced my ga-ma785-us2h to a ga-890fxa-ud5. I also had to add new ddr3 1600 ram and install a new RAID setup. Since then my computer has frozen randomly at least 8 times in the past 24 hours. My old setup never froze once in two years. The screen will just freeze and not do anything. No keyboard buttons, no mouse, nothing, so I have to push the restart button. This happens randomly no matter what I am doing. Is there a log I can look at so someone can help me? I was really excited for this motherboard now I think I'm better off just going back to what had and sending this all back.

You did do a fresh install of windows correct? If not, thats your issue. Whenever you change motherboards you need to do a fresh install of windows to lessen the chance of anything going wrong.

Yeah i did a fresh install. All my connections are. It seems to freeze when I'm playing a game or on the internet. Could my ram not be compatible?

I think i have found the problem, i believe my ram may not be fully compatible with my motherboard. I ran memtest86 and it failed while at 1600mhz. However, it passed after 45 minutes of testing at 1066 mhz, yet my computer still likes to freeze for no reason while clocked at 1066mhz. Newegg recommended this ram but i should have double checked. It even says Intel unlocked on the box. I looked on corsairs website and it only showed that the corsair dominator is compatible. I just ordered some g skill after looking on gigabytes website for supported memory. I'm just wondering if it really is the ram that's causing the random freezing.

Update: I flashed my bios to version 6 and it seems to be stable so far after a few hours of use.
