ok so my buddy has a computer, not sure all the spces on it and such. but he bought some new hardware for it. A graphics card and some ram and such. but when he installs the driver the computer like doesnt accept it. With out knowing what kind of grapics card it is, is there any thing you can advice me to help? all ready tried having him install them in safe mode. any help would be great
thanks.

so the pc sees the card but the driver cd wont run? you have ran setup on the disk it came with correct?

i beleive soo. its kind of hard to get correct info because he lives in another state and we talking over im on his phone lol

ok so i guess that its not that it wont install.
here's what we have done today
got a driver cleaner.. uninstalled the old driver...
cant install the new driver without the card in it...
so when did that it wouldnt accept anything...
so NOW he is reinstalling the old driver .. gonna add the 2nd card .. install the new driver again... uninstall the old driver again .. and then take out the old card .. and SEE if that works
you are getting these mssgs right?
the card is a GEforce 6200 (pci version)
nvidia is the maker

yeh our 2nd computer has that card and i had to rebuilt it and the comp wouldn't reconise it, but all i need was go onto the nvidia website and dowload the latest driver for it and it works fine for me
