This may be a dumb question, but I cannot find out where to locate what kind of computer I have. I am currently trying to find RAM to upgrade my old PC, which was somewhat customized but not fully. I have looked in the System Info, but all it says is Sis, which is like Silicon something. I cannot locate this name on any drop down menus, say on the best buy site, that have my computer. I can provide a screenshot of my system info if you guys could help me out.

It should list if you have it set to the hardware Tap at the left. Is this a Custom built or like a Dell-HP or something

Im not positive it was purchased a while back from a family friend
on the list from PC Wizard Manufacturer says unspecified, Bios (not sure what that is) says American Megatrends. Any idea?

Under System summary it says the mainboard is unspecified unspecified dont now why it says it twice

What motherboard does it say it has? Under the Hardware Tap click the second icon that looks like a computer/mainboard. When that comes up click on the Memory on the main page and at the bottom will pop up what kind and amount of memory/ram you have.

Can anyone help?

In PC Wizard when you clicked the mainboard Tap, look down on the list where it has your memory, if you click on the memory it will show in the bottom pane how much and what kind you have. You could pop the side off and look at the motherboard and see if it has a Make and Model. It has a SIS 730S chipset so I know its a Socket A and only has a FSB of 100 and 133mhz uses up to PC133 SDRAM and can read upto 1.5gbs.
