Hey there, well am in high school right now, graduating in June. I was planning in taking a career in the computer field. Preferably as a PC technician; repairs, upgrades, diagnostics, etc.. Anyone know what classes should I take or what schools to go to or what degree I should get? Any info, orientation, or help is much appreciated! Thanks! :3

p.s. I live in Anaheim, CA if its something that you need to know..
 
Check out the local trade schools. Many times they offer classes to get certified in different aspects of computer repair. Be prepared for a difficult field though if your planning on going oout on your own because many times there are 'big name' companies like geek squad and such that saturate these markets. You may be better trying to get on with a company.
 
Yeah places like Geek Squad have taken over, all of those courses for maybe $10-15/hr is that worth it to you? If so go for it, if not maybe programming which is quite more difficult, but better openings and pay
