PC to LCDTV Problem

I cannot figure out how to get the image centered on the TV - it is shifted to the right by about 3-4". I have been through all the menus, changed the resolution, checked the cable, checked on another LCD monitor, used another computer with the TV, etc.

The TV is an AQUOS LC-52E77UN.
I have to check the video card later - I don't know what it is.
Using VGA, which is the only option for this computer.

Thank you.

I have an nvidia card - and the Nvidia application lets me adjust the screen size and position by the Nvidia software.

Click on the monitor in question - and adjust the screen positioning.

Second the auto adjust feature. Sometimes that can be really off on TVs, especially if you're output resolution isn't the LCD's native res.

And when you say you have tested with other TVs, I assume they worked correctly?

Yes, it works fine on every LCD except the AQUOS.

I called Sharp tech support before I started this thread and we went through every single option the tv has. Nothing.

I will look into the card settings - good idea.

Thank you

Bingo! The catalyst control center worked - kind of.

The only problem is the image is showing up too big on the tv - it is cropped around the edges. If I push the image all the way to the left, it clips off the clock on the taskbar. I don't see any options to fix this yet.

I noticed it did the same thing with my laptop when I was watching a movie. But, I was using the tv as an extended monitor, so I didn't think to much about it. This may be a problem with the tv itself.
