PC to Monitor via Bluetooth?

Re:

Helloooo,

If ure desperate...and r rich... buy a SMART display... or perhaps wait for many years, where perhaps bluetooth may evolve :) ...

bluetooth has a speed of 1Mbps if you wanted to power a 800x600 at 32 bit depth at 60Hz display, it would mean that every frame there is 15,360,000bits (15Mb) multiply that by 60 and every second the 1Mbps connection would have to somehow transfer 921,600,000bits (912Mbps). does that clear it up.

Wireless would be easier, as they would be 10 meters apart, and with some walls and doors between (and as this is a rented flat I can’t make wholes in walls to pass cables).

No I am not rich. The idea was to share a PC with my girlfriend. We thought about having like two terminals using the same computer. And if we could do it wireless, we could have the 2 terminals in different rooms. But if it is not possible, then we will have to put them both in just one room. (But we do need two terminals in two desks, ‘ cause if we keep sharing this desk we will end up killing each other!!!)

Just for curiosity, what is this “SMART display” you mentioned?

You can get wireless multimedia stations to transmit audio and video, I have used one through a wall and it was good we played a DVD with nice picture quality on a 120cm rear projection screen.
