I couldn't find if the GPU I bought will work with my mobo. If not I'll just get a http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2959594&Sku=P450-9102
(I was planning on upgrading anyways but I wanna get the most out of this mobo). I know my old power supply wouldn't cut it so I got a 750w.So I'll keep you updated with pics and I will probably need help along the way so If you could walk me through it that would be awsome.

The 8800 GTS would go on the Asus board since it's still a PCI-E 16x 1.1 standard seen there. Asus also tops well over any XFX board by a long shot. Asus, Gigabyte. MSI, EVGA all make better boards there.

I want more Video memory so I can run higher res. How is my card outdated but has more video memory then the 512mb? Oh and I can't cancel my order !DOH!. Also I thought 8800gts had a seperate power source and I don't think my mobo has that?

Sorry about that. I thought the GTS you bought was based on the G80 technology. It actually has the G92 processor. The 512MB GTS is a little faster.

D'oh! :P

You'll need a six pin PCI-E connection from your PSU. That's it. The card you're getting is alright. :)

He did get the G80, he was asking why his 640MB card is lower than the 512MB version of the same name. Basically, the G92 GTS (the 512MB one) has a newer GPU that I believe is just a shrunk version of the G80. The smaller NM process allows it to get better performance and efficiency. Don't worry though, the G80 GTS is still great, just a tad bit slower (10-20 FPS average I'd say)

Ok cool I canceled the 8800gts card. Now I need to get a new card. I want a geforce card for under $400 that will run crysis on the highest (or the highest a $400 will go). Oh yea please only link tigerdirect cards. Also it doesn't have to come with Crysis (i can buy it on my own) THANKS
Yes I do have a hp

I have the 8800GTX 768MB. It's awesome. Takes two 6 pin connectors to power it and it weighs as much as I do, but geez is it ever awesome in games. Well worth it... and I bought Crysis for $20, still sealed. :P

Thanks for all the input ppl. You saved me from buying the 640MB 8800gts. Ok when I recieve all of my components I'll take some pics and keep you updated on the build. Thanks again.
