Hi.....
I Compaq Evo system unit with Win Xp SP3. Recently I have seen that it has got quite slow. I have even scanned with malware bytes and Eset Nod 32 antivirus. It is showing no viruses. The task manager shows that esaclient.exe is suing 98% cpu.

PC Specifications are:
* 1.8 GHz
* Pentium (R) 4 cpu
* 512 MB Ram

Please help me ..............:confused:

if its taking up 98% u should end that process, it doesnt look like it needed for the your system to perform, no necessary processes should be taking up that much CPU.

also what does your memory look like? what programs are u running, maybe u should run less programs at a time

Right click on that process, and go to Properties. There you will be able to see what program that is. If it isn't anything you installed, then uninstall it. If it is, what program is running it?
I would recommend going through old programs that you don't need/use and uninstall them. I would also recommend going through your startup programs aswell (go to Start, go to Run, type in "msconfig" > Go to the "Startup" tab and unselect any program that you do not want to start at startup.
