PC2-5300 on 780G Mobo?

It's probably $40 that you might want to speed. There's a rather large difference between DDR2 800 (or higher) and DDR2 533. My friend was in your position and eventually had to upgrade to DDR2 1066 due to bottleneck.
 
Yea DDR 533 can be a bottleneck depending on your setup, but you can always overclock.

But then again i just realised that you have an ASRock 780G which means the memory controller is built into the processor. So in your case DDR800 and DDR533 won't make all that of difference. On AMD setups, the big difference is made with cpu mhz not ram.
