I need some help just understanding PCIe a little more.

If you have a PCIe X 1 Slot I know this means it has One Lain.
So this One Lain has 2. Wires going into it and 2. Wires coming out of it so it has 4. Wires Total Right??

And if you have a PCIe X 16 Slot it has 16 Lain.
So every Lain will have 2. Wire going into it and 2. Wires going out of it so it has a Total of 32 Wires Right
Just tell me if I have it or not

What I ment to say is this.

A PCIe X1. has ONE Lane
And this ONE Lane has 4. Wires Total so it will have 2. Wire going in and 2. Wires going out RIGHT??????

So a PCIe X16 Slot has 16 Lanes
And if every Lane has 4. wires Total
Then it will be 84 wires RIGHT
